The Seivson × (A)crypsis METAL GEM HAWAIIAN SHIRT reinterprets the iconic Cyber Rococo Toile motif shared by both brands. Through a comprehensive evolution of fabric, silhouette, and craftsmanship, the piece returns as the fully upgraded 2.0 : EVOLUTION edition.

Silhouette

Compared to the original collaborative Hawaiian Shirt, this version has been redeveloped based on the classic Aloha Shirt structure. Generous proportions through the shoulders and body create a balance between relaxed volume and sharp presence, offering both everyday versatility and a distinctive fashion-forward silhouette.

Fabric

Constructed from a premium lightweight fabric developed for Asian summer climates, the material retains fluid drape and movement while enhancing breathability and comfort. The lighter weight also allows the print and metal embellishments to maintain clear visual definition and layered depth.

Motif

Cyber Rococo Toile is a reconstruction of classicism, technology, and apocalyptic aesthetics. Inspired by the narrative tradition of eighteenth-century French Toile de Jouy, the motif combines Rococo ornamentation, mechanical structures, futuristic ruins, and imagined human forms into a new visual order suspended between romance and collapse.

Craftsmanship

This edition introduces the Metal Gem Structure technique on an unprecedented scale. Metal elements are carefully matched to tones within the print, allowing the details to remain concealed within the motif itself. From a distance, they appear almost inseparable from the fabric surface; upon closer inspection, reflections and layered metallic structures gradually emerge, revealing an additional hidden image.

Concept

For the first time, Metal Gem Structure has been extensively integrated into the Cyber Rococo Toile motif.

The metal components are intentionally selected in tones close to the print itself, becoming a subtle visual language hidden beneath the surface. From afar, the metallic details blend seamlessly into the artwork. As the viewer approaches, scattered reflections and layered structures slowly reveal themselves, uncovering another hidden world.

This embodies the meaning of “Crypsis” — not overtly displayed, yet always present.

Like fragments left behind after the collapse of civilization, these metallic elements remain quietly embedded within time, waiting to be rediscovered.

Styling

Can be worn alone as a statement summer piece or layered over tanks, basic tops, and lightweight long-sleeve garments. Pairing with wide-leg trousers, long skirts, military pants, or muted-tone bottoms further highlights both the Cyber Rococo Toile artwork and the hidden Metal Gem details.
