『ORIGINAL DESIGN CONSTRUCTION』
The bow is transformed from flat pattern pieces into a three-dimensional form through sculptural draping and pattern-cutting techniques. Rather than functioning as an added decorative element, the bow becomes an integral part of the bag’s pattern, structure, and capacity.
The design deconstructs the visual language of a bow — its knot, wings, and cascading tails — and translates these elements directly into the construction of the bag. Through asymmetric pattern pieces, three-dimensional draping, and the redistribution of fabric volume, the bow and the bag body are formed as one continuous structure.
The pattern deliberately avoids perfect symmetry. Different proportions and amounts of gathering are used on each side, allowing the fabric to converge at the center before naturally expanding outward into a sculptural volume.
Because nylon is inherently soft and flexible, the bag is not fixed into a rigid silhouette. Instead, its natural collapse, folds, and fluidity are intentionally preserved. Once objects are placed inside, their weight reshapes the proportions of the bag, creating a subtly different silhouette with every use.
『RAW-EDGE BRAIDED HANDLE』
The handle continues the bag’s design language of imperfection and asymmetry, deliberately moving away from the neat, substantial, and fully finished construction traditionally associated with bag handles.
Fabric is irregularly wrapped and braided, with selected raw edges intentionally left exposed. Through overlapping, twisting, and tension, the material naturally develops variations in texture and volume.
Rather than refining the handle into an overly polished form, the folds, edges, and traces of wrapping created during the making process are intentionally preserved as part of the design itself.
In contrast to the precision and solidity typically expected of conventional handles, this design deliberately reduces the sense of “completion,” creating a softer, more relaxed form with a subtle unfinished quality.
These unrefined traces introduce a sense of ease, spontaneity, and freedom to the otherwise sculptural volume of the bag.
『LARGE CAPACITY』
While the bag appears visually as a sculptural design object, practical capacity was incorporated into its structure from the very beginning of the pattern-making process.
The spacious main compartment accommodates everyday essentials, documents, and a laptop, making it suitable for daily commuting, work, and short trips.
Capacity is not treated as a function separate from the design. Instead, it becomes part of the bow silhouette itself — as the contents and volume change, the sculptural proportions and shape of the bag evolve with them.
『CUSTOM HARDWARE & EXCLUSIVE LOGO』
The front of the bag features Seivsoñ’s custom screw Logo hardware. Its cool, solid metallic quality contrasts with the softness and natural folds of the nylon body.
Inside, the drawstring pouch features an exclusive all-over ñi by Seivsoñ collaboration Logo, placing the identity of the collaboration within the bag’s interior details.
From the asymmetric exterior silhouette and central construction to the custom hardware and interior branding, every detail forms part of a single design language.
It looks substantial, yet feels remarkably light.
It appears sculptural, yet is designed to be used every day.
