SEIVSON 2027SS “BOUDOIR” begins with the idea of turning the intimate outward.

The concept is rooted in a woman’s boudoir and begins with a single piece of sleepwear.

The wrinkles left in sleepwear, impressions made by the body, a hem not quite straightened, and jewelry waiting to be worn on the dressing table—all these intimate details, once confined to the room, are carried into this limited-edition BOUDOIR piece.

First presented on the Tokyo runway this season, the Asymmetric Cut “BOUDOIR Pearl-Embellished Asymmetric Draped Top” takes its starting point from the silhouettes of classic American loungewear and sleepwear.

The fabric is gathered, pulled, and allowed to accumulate in folds, shifting the garment’s center of gravity so that one side extends naturally downward. The seemingly spontaneous wrinkles are, in fact, controlled by the cut, as though the wearer has just risen from bed and the garment still holds the impression of the body that rested in it.

The fabric is deliberately chosen for its lightness, softness, and gentle feel against the skin, allowing the silhouette to move between sleepwear, a T-shirt, and a dress without belonging to any single category.

Set against this ease is a dense arrangement of pearls and crystals across the chest.

Putting on jewelry is usually the final step before going out.

In this piece, we bring that step forward, sewing jewelry directly into sleepwear—a garment that embodies the private. It is as though a jewelry box on the dressing table has been opened and tipped over, scattering pearls and crystals across the most intimate garment, worn closest to the body.
