Continuing the concept of SEIVSON 27SS BOUDOIR, the collection reinterprets the tailoring of formal trousers, the comfort of sportswear, and the delicate design language of lingerie, lace, and jewelry.
01|RECONSTRUCTING TAILORING AND CASUAL SILHOUETTES
Built upon the structure and pleating principles of tailored trousers, the design incorporates the ease and freedom of movement found in casual pants.
The waist construction, crotch volume, and leg width have been reconsidered, allowing the refined lines of formal tailoring to adapt naturally to everyday movement.
02|DECONSTRUCTED OUTWARD-FOLDED WAISTBAND
The waistband is intentionally folded outward, exposing structural elements traditionally concealed on the inside.
The thickness of the fold, exposed edges, and subtle fraying create layers with an intentionally unfinished appearance, continuing the BOUDOIR concept of transforming intimate structures into visible design elements.
03|WIDE WAISTBAND WITH MULTIPLE STITCHING LINES AND GATHERING
Combining the comfort and practicality of sportswear, the wide waistband features multiple parallel stitching lines that control finely gathered fabric.
The horizontally gathered waist contrasts with the expanding volume below, establishing a defined starting point for the generous fabric while maintaining a balanced and refined silhouette.
04|LINGERIE STRAPS REIMAGINED AS BELT LOOPS
SEIVSON’s signature lingerie straps are relocated to the waist and reconstructed as belt loops.
Delicate straps and metal adjustment rings contrast with the substantial volume of the wide waistband, transforming details traditionally hidden beneath clothing into visible structural elements and distinctive brand signatures.
05|WRAP-AROUND CONSTRUCTION EXTENDING FROM BACK TO FRONT
Developed independently by the SEIVSON studio, the pattern combines two tailored trouser silhouettes of different widths.
Through a wrap-around construction extending from the back panels toward the front, the distribution of fabric volume is redefined.
Three-dimensional pleats beneath the waist gather the fabric before gradually releasing it along the legs, creating continuous vertical lines from the waist downward.
The natural contours of the legs remain concealed within the generous fabric volume, creating a visually elongated and streamlined silhouette.
06|EXTRA-WIDE SILHOUETTE WITH GENDER-NEUTRAL PROPORTIONS
Generous space is maintained throughout the hips, thighs, and trouser legs, allowing the fabric to fall naturally with a fluid volume reminiscent of a long skirt.
This relaxed silhouette is achieved through the precise relationship between pleating, overlapping construction, and extended pattern panels.
07|LACE MOTIFS INSPIRED BY THE RUNWAY GARDEN
The lace incorporates intertwined motifs of flowers, amoeba-like organic forms, and botanical elements.
Patterns of varying scales and densities create a richly textured surface, reflecting the garden imagery presented throughout this season’s runway collection.
Transparent spaces between the motifs allow light to pass through, while the movement and drape of the fabric create flowing lines reminiscent of water across a pond.
08|DOUBLE-LAYER CONSTRUCTION: TWO TROUSERS UNITED AS ONE
The outer layer is crafted from sheer lace, while the inner layer features tailored suiting fabric with a subtle satin sheen.
Through the transparent spaces of the lace, the underlying tailored trousers become visible, revealing subtle variations of light and shadow across the fabric.
Each layer requires its own complete pattern pieces, stitching, and edge finishing before the pleats and draping of both layers can be integrated.
Even the concealed internal structures must be carefully finished to ensure that the combined volume of two separate trousers moves harmoniously when worn.
09|INTENTIONALLY DRAPED SIDE PANELS
Freely hanging panels are incorporated along both sides, allowing the lace and solid fabrics to appear alternately.
When standing still, the panels form long vertical lines along the trousers. During walking or turning, they open and close naturally with movement.
Their fluidity is created through the direction of the extended panels, the distribution of fabric volume, and the weight of the materials, ensuring that the side profile is as thoughtfully constructed as the front.
10|TAILORED WELT POCKETS AND GEOMETRIC FABRIC PANELS
Traditional tailored welt pockets are retained at the back, accompanied by triangular fabric panels.
These defined geometric elements intersect with the intricate lace patterns, creating a contrast between structured tailoring and organic ornamentation.
The width, corners, and edges of each welt require precise construction and finishing.
11|CELL-LIKE JEWEL EMBELLISHMENTS ALONG THE HEMS
Jewelry-inspired embellishments of varying sizes gather, scatter, and extend across the trouser hems.
Their irregular distribution and shifting density create an organic rhythm reminiscent of proliferating cells, introducing an unusual sense of life into the delicate lace.
12|JEWEL-LIKE LUSTER WITHIN MONOCHROMATIC BLACK AND WHITE
The white version features pearlescent embellishments that complement the lace, creating soft variations of light and shadow between the motifs, underlying fabric, and luminous bead surfaces.
In the black version, dark glossy embellishments blend into the trousers, gradually emerging as the viewing angle and lighting change.
Even within a single monochromatic look, the interaction of contrasting materials creates subtle depth and dimension.
