The bloom silhouette is not created simply by adding volume. Instead, it is constructed through the difference in circumference between the outer and inner layers, the controlled distribution of gathers, and the inward shaping of the hem.

Dense gathering at the waist concentrates and redistributes the fabric volume, while the wide satin hem is drawn inward, allowing the outer fabric to naturally expand outward and form a full, continuous curved silhouette.

The contrast between the defined waist and the outward-expanding body creates a distinct sense of proportion, emphasizing the waistline while giving the legs a cleaner, more elongated appearance. As light moves across the satin surface, shifts between highlight and shadow further define every fold and curve of the bloom silhouette.
