『ORIGINAL DESIGN CONCEPT』

“We wanted to create a pair of trousers that does not require choosing between formal and casual.”

A shirt-inspired waistband introduces a more formal visual language and becomes part of the garment’s structural detailing. Yet the attitude that truly defines the piece is Formal Ease — it can be styled with a shirt or tailored jacket for a formal setting, or paired with a T-shirt, tank top, and sneakers to become entirely everyday.

“Formal Ease” is not simply formal or casual. It is about wearing formality with a sense of relaxation. This idea reflects the trousers themselves: refined and elevated in appearance, yet comfortable through their shirt-inspired waistband and relaxed silhouette.

Strategically placed pleats redistribute the volume of the trouser body, allowing the satin to develop fluid movement and subtle shifts in volume while walking.

『PREMIUM PIMA COTTON』

The shirt-inspired waistband is crafted from high-quality Pima Cotton.

Known for its long fibers, softness, fine texture, and strength, Pima Cotton creates a smoother, more refined surface while retaining the natural comfort of cotton.

It is intentionally contrasted with the fluid satin trouser body: the upper section is clean and precise, with the crisp character of shirting, while the lower section transitions into soft, draped satin with a shifting sheen.

The contrast in luster, texture, and drape between the two materials further enhances the visual depth of the trousers.

『SEWING CONSTRUCTION』

The construction deliberately places finished and raw edges side by side.

Selected panels retain exposed seam allowances and raw fabric edges, while others are fully finished. These different levels of completion overlap throughout the garment, creating additional depth and a stronger sense of boundary within the details.

Rather than refining every element into perfect neatness, subtle traces of incompleteness are intentionally preserved, giving the trousers a more relaxed, spontaneous, and unrestricted attitude when worn.

Exposed edges reveal different layers when viewed up close, allowing the trousers to remain intentionally unresolved somewhere between formal and casual.

『GLITTER LOGO DESIGN』

The ñi Seivsoñ LOGO positioned above the back pocket is rendered in fine, low-contrast glitter.

Under normal lighting, the Logo nearly disappears into the satin surface. As the angle of light shifts and the body moves, subtle reflections gradually emerge.

Only fully visible from certain angles, the Logo reflects the world of ñi — a state suspended between dream and reality.
